 the next Winslow fiber adventure! Really! It’s now seven years since fol
 ks started gathering at La Posada in Winslow for a weekend in February\, t
 o knit and spin and crochet\, to shop and visit and sample the amazing foo
 d served at The Turquoise Room\, to meet like-minded crafters from as far 
 away as Chicago and as close as neighbors. One of the best comments we’v
 e heard was from a woman who was so delighted by the chance to talk about 
 her crafting passion with others who were equally passionate. This year\, 
 information and updates will be posted on this dedicated page of the store
 ’s website. The members of the previous planning team will still be acti
 ve in creating the event. WHAT: The 7th Winslow Knitting\, Spinning\, Croc
 heting and Weaving Retreat WHEN: Friday\, February 13 - Monday\, February 
 16\, 2026. WHERE: ​La Posada Hotel ​ ​ ​303 East 2nd Street (Route
  66) ​ ​ ​Winslow\, Arizona. 86047 You will be responsible for makin
 g your own hotel reservation by calling 928-289-4366. The rooms are no lon
 ger being "blocked" for us by the hotel so there is no special registratio
 n code to register. Payment will be charged when the reservation is made. 
 IF YOU REQUIRE GROUND FLOOR ACCOMMODATION\, IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THA
 T YOU MAKE HOTEL & TRAIN RESERVATIONS EARLY. HOW TO GET THERE: Though not 
 required\, part of the fun of the trip is riding the Amtrak to this histor
 ic Fred Harvey hotel. A round-trip coach ticket from Albuquerque costs $78
  - $100. Coach seating is open and there are a limited number of seats for
  mobility impaired riders. Amtrak ticket prices vary with availability so 
 get your ticket soon! Tickets can be bought: - at the station in downtown
